Join AFWA San Diego for our annual Public Relations Dinner! At this event, we will recognize our Board of Directors and scholarship recipients. If you only come to one event a year, this is the one! By attending, you show your support for our organization, appreciation for our hardworking volunteer Board, and encouragement for deserving students as they pursue education and careers in accounting/finance. We will also have several opportunity prize drawings to win a $500 Spa Gift, two $350 Day of Beauty gift certificates, plus other great prizes. Proceeds support our scholarship fund.
Our Keynote Speaker this year is Coe Lewis. Coe Lewis considers herself as "a true rocker girl". Born in Texas and raised all over the world in places like Ethiopia, Lebanon, Spain and Belgium. She first started at KGB in 1987 and worked all different day parts as the Music Director and the Assistant Program Director. Coe left for a couple of years in the mid 90's, and returned in 1995. Coe has been at KGB in some capacity for over 20 years. Her first love and one true love is KGB. Coe went on to sell real estate a few years ago, and still does, but came back to plug in the headphones again. Coe has been on the radio longer than any other female in San Diego! KGB has allowed her to work with the best artists in the world. She has interviewed everyone from the Stones to Van Halen. Coe's favorite band in the world is Led Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin along with the Beatles got her into radio. Coe also give back to her community by helping other's with her Coe's List and is involved in helping Animal Shelters and all critters in need.

Broiled breast of chicken served on a bed of sautéed mushrooms and topped with a creamy béarnaise sauce.
Fresh Mahi Mahi
A fresh filet, charbroiled, served with macadamia nut sauce and papaya salsa
Italian style risotto made with cream, garlic and parmesan cheese tossed with fresh baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, roasted wild mushrooms, asparagus and summer squash.

Parking available at Embarcadero Marina Park North, meters are free starting at 6:OO PM or you can park in the lot next to Harbor House Restaurant and they will validate for 2 Hours. Your cost is $1.00 for the first 2 hours and $1.00 for every 15 minutes thereafter.
