Please join us as we kick off 2009 with a very interesting topic at our January 15th dinner meeting.  We welcome Dr. Mark Stengler, ND, author of "Prescriptions for Natural Cures" as he presents the topic of "Natural Prescriptions for Women's Health" and shares with us a self-care guide to treating our health with natural cures.  His approach empahsizes preventing disease and optimizing health without undesired side effects. Known as The Natural Physician to his patients, readers and audiences across North America, Mark Stengler is a licensed naturopathic physician, author and lecturer with expertise in nutrition, herbal therapy, vitamin therapy, homeopathy, natural hormone replacement and integrated medicine. His passion is to combine the best of conventional and natural medicine to achieve optimized health and wellness.

Roasted Chicken - Roasted chicken breast with roasted garlic pan jus, White Cheddar mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables

 

Pub Tenderloin Tips - USDA Choice pan-seared sirloin tips ar in our rich Brown Ale sauce with woodland mushrooms, roasted red peppers and onions served over White Cheddar mashed potatoes.

 

Grilled Salmon - Citrus-rubbed fresh salmon filled grilled and served with lemon rice and seasonal vegetables.


Served with Side Salad (with choice of dressing) - Fresh greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrot strings, sundried cranberries and croutons.

Chocolate Stout Cheesecake - This chocolate lover's cheesecake combines cream cheese, cocoa, bittersweet chocolate and our smooth Stout with a Semi-sweet chocolate wafer crust. Finished with homemade milk chocolate and sour cream frosting.

    

Carrot Cake - Buttery-rich frosting covers a luxuriously moist, nutty carrot cake made with a whisper of Pale Ale and finished with homemade caramel sauce.

    

Ice Cream Sundae - a scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate fudge and cherry

 

Soda, tea, and coffee is included.  Beer, house wine, and well drinks are available for the happy hour price of $3.79 until 7:00p.m.
